Fifteen years ago, I began a journey that would shape the course of my professional life. Working in nursing, my first experiences in healthcare opened my eyes to the profound impact that care and compassion can have on others. From those early days, I knew that this was more than just a profession, it was a calling.

For many years, I dedicated myself to supporting people across a range of healthcare settings, but it was when I began working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs that I truly found my place. In this work, I discovered a space where empathy, advocacy, and genuine human connection came together, and it resonated deeply with my values.

As Operations & Quality Director at Reside Support, I remain committed to ensuring that the people we support are always at the centre of everything we do. Guided by the values of Respect, Committed, Inclusive, and Honest, I am driven by the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to live a life that is meaningful, independent, and full of possibility.

What motivates me each day is the knowledge that through the right support, people can achieve more than society often expects of them. My role is not only about overseeing services, it’s about empowering individuals, celebrating their potential, and creating environments where they can thrive.
